Cardenas S.L.P.

Located in the center of the state of San Luis Potosi, with a population around 18,000 inhabitant, it is a calm and small town, the climate is hot on summer and very cold on winter but actually the climate is very nice.

The people's town are kind,friendly and conservative, normally they are in their houses the greatest time of day, the main reason is for the custom although too is because in the town there aren't places to hung out as karaoke, movie thater, big supermarket, nightclubs, bars, river, beaches but it's a place without traffic, violence and pollution it isn't noisy, the perfect place for relaxing.

The main economic activities are agriculture,livestock and trade. Corn and bean are the seeds that are cultivated, and livestock are pigs and bovine and finally the trade where it is sold tool for work field as axes, blades, horse chairs and articles leather.

Near the town there are rivers to camping as The Waterfalls of Tamasopo, Paso Ancho, Trampolin, Micos, Puente de Dios etc all located in the Huasteca Potosina. It's great places to vacation.

Cardenas was important town because in the year 1890 arrives the railroad causing economic growth and turistic too, being a place very visited by people from other countries, but now only stayed in the past.
